More than just herbalism, this is sleep-away camp for the magical kids who grew up but never outgrew the desire to play in the dirt, create gardens, gather healing plants, visit coastal islands, brew magic potions, talk with the trees, sing under the stars, cook s’mores around a campfire, make new friends, howl at the moon, and create magic of one kind and another here at our United Plant Savers registered Botanical Sanctuary!

From our sweet sanctuary in the woods to an overnight adventure at the Isles of Shoals where we’ll gather wild roses and take part in plant walks and island stewardship, this is an inspiring and restorative trip like no other! Sink into this peaceful, joyous, loving time-out-of-time with forest bathing, herb-tending, garden play, remedy making, and stories by the campfire. This retreat is open to both herbal apprentices and the curious folks who wish to experience the energy of Sacred Gaian Herbalism and the serenity of our Center for Sacred Gaian Learning.

Camping, all meals, boat ride to and from Star Island and on-island accommodations, classes, all herbal materials, and tools included.

You are responsible for camping gear (we have some to loan on a first-come basis, ask ahead), snacks, contributions to our welcome potluck dinner, and insect/sun protection.

Cost is for non-apprentices. Registered apprentices may attend for 1/2 off. Some work-trade options are available, talk to Jessica.

Cancellation Policy: A 50% refund may be given until June 1, 2024. No refunds will be given after June 1, 2024.

The standard price is the actual cost of the event. If you choose a ticket price below this tier you are receiving a discount.

The supported price is for those who struggle to meet their basic needs and paying for this class would be a significant hardship.

Work-trade is available for those who struggle to meet basic needs and paying for this class would still be a significant hardship.

The Pay-It-Forward price is a few bucks above the actual cost of the event and that extra money goes towards supporting scholarships as well as future free and low-cost classes. Essentially it's an opportunity to not only attend but also support your fellow community members while you're at it.
