Bring the whole family (and one vegetable per person) for a deliciously fun workshop! Based off of the beloved story, we’ll make soup from a stone (and a bone, and a carrot, and a….), then enjoy a family style brown-bag lunch accompanied by our own homemade soup - yum! Along the way, we’ll learn safe kitchen skills (like washing, chopping, slicing, peeling, serving, and cleanup), raid the apothecary for an herbal guessing game, and discover just how easy it is to make bone broth (a simple, inexpensive, nutritionally dense base for all sorts of delicious meals your family will enjoy)!

Cost: sliding scale $10-$60 per family, no one turned away for lack of funds. Tickets available here. Please prepurchase; space is limited. Barter/trade gladly accepted (email info@blackbirdsdaughter.com to reserve your barter/trade tickets).

Ages: All ages welcome with a grownup; if you think your kiddo(s) will have a hard time participating fully, please make sure you have enough adults with you to take them outside for a wiggle break so the group can make the soup in time for lunch!
